Our Story
Like many Venezuelan families, we came to the United States in search of a better future for our children. We left behind our family, our friends, our traditions, and everything that had always felt familiar. Starting over is never easy, but we arrived in Miami ready to work hard, keep moving forward, and build something meaningful for our family. Our story began 17 years ago with a bakery, making all kinds of products for hotels and businesses across South Florida. Those first years were really tough. The business was unpredictable—one day a hotel could ask for something completely different to be ready by the next morning. We knew that if we wanted to grow, we needed to find something we could truly make our own. Little by little, that something became tequeños. We perfected our recipe with high-quality ingredients, plenty of cheese, and that unmistakable flavor we remembered from Venezuela. Individually hand-wrapped, carefully frozen and packed, we wanted families everywhere to be able to keep them ready whenever they needed them. And that’s how TQMUCH, from “Te Quiero Mucho,” meaning “I love you very much,” was born. There’s something special about a tequeño. You take one bite, reach for another, and before you know it, everyone is gathered around the plate. Over the years, we realized that this is what we love most about what we do. Our food brings people together. And in a life where we’re all constantly running between work, kids, errands, and a thousand things to do, sharing something delicious shouldn’t have to be complicated. One of the most beautiful parts of these 17 years has been watching that little piece of Venezuela find its way onto the tables of people from so many different cultures. Today, TQMUCH is our way of sharing a little bit of Venezuela with the country that opened its doors to so many of us, and with every family that makes room for us at their table.
